What do I do if I
have an accident?
- Report accident to the Police.
- Report accident to broker.
- Choose a repair facility that you trust.
- Bring your vehicle down for an estimate; usually only one is
required.

- If your vehicle has been towed to a compound let your repair
facility know, ask to have it towed to the repair facility of
choice. Remember: towing compounds charge storage.
- Instruct body shop to contact the insurance company to advise them
that you are going to have repairs done there.
- Discuss repair plan with the estimator; make sure you are
comfortable with what is being repaired, replaced and repainted.
This will tell you exactly what is being done; now is the time to
address any concerns with respect to the repair.
- Sign a work order so that the body shop can proceed.
- Check to see if you have rental car coverage; if you do then have
the shop assist you in renting a car.
- Sit back and relax; when your vehicle is repaired the shop will
call you and arrange a convenient time to pick up your vehicle.
